CORPORATE SAFETY AND HEALTH MANAGEMENT POLICY STATEMENT
BLUE INK CONSIDERS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ESSENTIAL FOR SEVERAL REASONS, INCLUDING:
•A moral and ethical requirement to provide a safe and healthy workplace for employees and contractors.
•Compliance with state and federal safety and health regulatory requirements.
•The minimisation of both Blue Ink and the host facility’s liability exposure related to occupational injuries and illnesses onsite.
•The maximisation of productivity in the form of reduced downtime, retraining, damaged work, etc.
Blue Ink considers the personal safety and health of employees, contract workers and facility personnel to be of primary importance. We believe that these individuals are important assets and that their safety and health at Blue Ink work sites is our greatest responsibility. Occupational safety and health will not be compromised to the demands of project schedule, production or cost.
Blue Ink requires all contractors to understand and abide by any and all applicable OSH Safety and Health Standards. In addition, any applicable state and local regulations will be observed and complied with. In the interest of worker safety, Blue Ink will require measures exceeding OSH’s standards where conditions and experience warrant.
